Infogr.am is an information graphic designing tool. The application currently offers chart building capabilities. New users can try their hand at building charts. The application offers a wide range of design options, including traditional pie and bar charts as well as people symbols and other options. Users can build a library of charts or create a new chart. Infogr.am gives the user a starter chart based on the type of chart selected. The user can add data into a spreadsheet built into the application. Infogr.am also lets users import data from their computer.

Infogr.am was founded in February of 2012 by Uldis Leiterts and Raimonds Kaze. The application offers a number of basic functions currently, but makes promises for additional functionality in the future. Infogr.am has received positive comments and reviews from users, many add the disclaimer that the application is still being worked on and will improve as new updates are rolled out. A new user can try Infogr.am by clicking the green “Start today!” button along the left side of the homepage. The next page includes two blue buttons that invite the user to sign in with a Twitter or Facebook account. Users must choose one, sign in to their account and give Infogr.am permission to access the profile. There is no other login option available at this time.

Infogr.am is available to all users at no cost. There are no subscription fees and the user doesn’t have to make any purchases. All users can access all current features by logging in with their Facebook or Twitter account. The site has reserved space for a store that will be added later, but there is no further information as far as what will be sold and how much users will be asked to pay for items or services.

Infogr.am is a great tool for anyone who needs to build a simple online chart. Users can work with four diverse layout options and display any kind of data imaginable. The application is somewhat basic but gives the user just enough customization options to work effectively. Future updates will bring added functionality which will surely entice more users to give Infogr.am a try.
